Friday Dec 1, 2023

  • First Friday

    Friday Dec 1, 2023 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

    First Friday at
    St. John the Baptist!

    First Friday Devotions:

6 - 7pm, Adoration, Confession and Most Holy Rosary ending with Benediction

7pm - Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    7:30 - 9:30 pm - Adoration along with Praise & Worship Music
The First Fridays devotion arises from the private revelations of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque . One of the promises Jesus made to St. Margaret Mary is as follows:  I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in My disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

So make this devotion a part of your life of prayer, frequent reception of the Sacraments, and works of mercy. Receive Holy Communion on nine consecutive First Fridays with the intention of honoring the Sacred Heart and obtaining the graces Jesus promised. It's easy, with extraordinary rewards!

Saturday Dec 2, 2023

  • First Saturday Mass

    Saturday Dec 2, 2023 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

A reminder about our Monthly First Saturday Mass!
Join us for Adoration and Confession beginning at 9 am, followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 10 am.  The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points of the Fatima message. It centers on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both impious and indifferent men.

On the First Saturday during 5 Consecutive Months, the Devotion consists of: 1. Going to Confession, 2. Receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion, 3. Saying five decades of the Rosary,  4. Meditating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

All this offered in REPARATION for the sins of blasphemy and ingratitude committed against the
    Immaculate Heart of Mary.
